We’re excited to announce that ContraForce is expanding its US business through a new distribution agreement with Ingram Micro, a leading technology company for the global information technology ecosystem.
The goal of this agreement is to transform how managed service providers (MSPs) deliver security services. The agreement will help MSPs scale their Microsoft businesses by allowing them to deploy and improve managed detection and response (MDR) and managed security operations center (SOC) services based on Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
ContraForce is a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association and is the 2024 Microsoft Security ISV of the year. ContraForce is a channel-first vendor and has been recognized as a 2024 CRN Stellar Startup.
In today’s digital era, cyber-attacks have grown in number and are actively threatening small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), who are increasingly looking to MSPs for the resources and expertise to help protect them. Out of all cybersecurity spend, security services have the highest growth rate, growing at about 26% annually, according to Gartner, Inc.
“This new agreement with ContraForce is designed to help MSPs and their SMB clients maximize their Microsoft investment and solve for security challenges,” said Adam Bellows, Executive Director and Category Leader for Ingram Micro’s networking and security business. “Our broad MSP partner network, combined with ContraForce’s security service delivery platform, will help further enable MSPs across the country to proactively protect their clients by more effectively detecting and responding to cyber threats.”
The ContraForce Security Service Delivery Platform employs proprietary AI and automation to allow MSPs to efficiently manage endpoint detection and response (EDR) and security incident and event management (SIEM) tools for their clients as part of MDR and managed SOC services. MSPs can use the ContraForce Platform to deliver their own managed security service offerings, or they can have qualified providers deliver security services on their behalf.
MSPs working with Ingram Micro and ContraForce can also upsell Microsoft 365 plans to their clients as part of onboarding their MDR and managed SOC services as follows:
“We look forward to working with Ingram Micro and their vast network of MSP customers to help those MSPs expand their Microsoft business and better ensure that businesses across the US are protected,” says Stan Golubchik, CEO and Co-Founder, ContraForce.
